Two tiny dents to bottom edge of front cover, otherwise a Very Good plus condition book in a Very Good dustwrapper (very slightly faded on spine and with corrugation to laminate near spine). Subtitle: Botanist, Explorer, And Administrator. In "British Men of Science" series. Hooker was a Victorian Botanist and Author who went on explorations, was Director of the Royal Botanic Gardens at Kew and was remembered as Darwin's great friend, helping the developing study of evolution.
