First Illustrated Edition (8"x5 1/4") 296pp. Illustrated with numerous engraved plates after Turner and Stothard. Green leather covers with darker green spine and corners with bright gilt lettering and borders, very slight wear to top and bottom of spine. There is faint brown shading around some plates and facing some plates (especially where tissue guard is missing) but this does not affect, in our view, the beauty of the plates. Page edges gilt, generally Very Good condition.
